Position Overview
Our client is seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer / Junior Design Engineer to join their engineering team. In this role, you will collaborate with senior engineers to design and develop new products, systems, and solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior engineers to design and develop new products and systems.
- Conduct research and collect data to support engineering projects and initiatives.
- Assist in preparing technical drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Perform tests, simulations, and analyses to evaluate design performance and reliability.
- Contribute innovative ideas during brainstorming sessions to improve products or processes.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of engineering processes and standards.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during development or production.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including project managers, designers, and technicians.
- Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices.
- Ensure assigned tasks are completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, concepts, and methodologies.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CAM) for design and drafting.
- CNC experience is a bonus.
- Familiarity with engineering simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, ANSYS).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
- Detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and precision.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently when needed.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or 3-5 years of experience in an Engineering/Design role.
- 1-2 years of relevant internship or entry-level engineering experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with industry-specific engineering software and tools.
- Additional certifications or training related to engineering are a plus.
- Strong academic background with a focus on engineering coursework.
